Candy Wreath

Mix plaster as directed on package, and pour into plastic peanut butter jar, up to where the rim begins.
Place tree piece into the wet plaster filled jar. The plaster should be thick enough to hold the tree piece upright and centered. Set aside to harden.

For pillow, roll batting so it looks like a sausage. Place batting across wrong side of fabric, approximately 4-5″ from narrow edge. Fold fabric down to cover batting. Make Dough. Mix flour, coffee grounds, salt and sand. Gradually stir in only enough water until mixture holds together.
Do not over wet! Dough that is too wet takes longer to dry!

Flower Pillows

Prewash and dry pillow and fabric following manufacturer\’s laundering instructions. Do not use fabric softeners in the washer or dryer. Iron to remove wrinkles.
Lay rough (glue) side of fusible web to wrong side of fabric. Iron for 3-5 seconds to adhere web to fabric.

Brick Bookends

Paint bricks Medium Blue. Let dry.
Trace flower petal shapes (star, tear drop, ovals) onto foam. Cut out.
Glue down flower stems first, then fence posts and fence braces. Glue on flowers, leaves and buttons.

Bird Barn

Sand birdhouse and wipe with tack cloth or damp paper towel.
If your birdhouse does not have a “silo”, create one! Cut dowel to fit size of your barn. Sand to gently round one end. Glue dowel onto side of barn. Make sure “silo” extends about 2″ above roof edge. Let dry thoroughly.
